OUR PROVIDERS

CONNIE STOOTS, MD Undergraduate: East Tennessee State University Doctorate of Medicine: James H. Quillen College of Medicine - East Tennessee State University Internship & Residency: Residency at Department of Family Medicine - East Tennessee State University Connie was raised in Central Appalachia in a rural tobacco farming community with wood heat, a ringer washer and an outhouse. After leaving home she attended college, where she played volleyball. After graduating from ETSU, she taught school and coached. She later earned her master’s degree. After eleven years teaching, Connie decided to attend medical school at Quillen College of Medicine. She completed her residency with ETSU Family Medicine Associates in 2010. She's board certified in Family Medicine. Today she is married and has one daughter. She lives on a farm and enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, kite boarding, surfing and traveling.
PAULINA MOSCA, DO Paulina Mosca, DO joined the Walk-In Clinic in August 2015. Prior to joining SoFHA, Dr. Mosca worked for the Florida Hospital Medical Group and Heathrow Urgent Care in Lake Mary, Florida. Dr. Mosca is fluent in English and Spanish. She enjoys going on Mission Trips; having recently traveled to Mexico and Ecuador. One of the reasons she was drawn to East Tennessee is her love of the outdoors. She mostly enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Robert Mosca, and their one year old twin daughters.
RON HUNTER, MD Dr. Hunter grew up in Middle Tennessee and moved to Michigan during high school. He attended Michigan State University for his undergraduate degree and Wayne State in Detroit for Medical School. He did his Family Medicine Residency in Roanoke, Virginia. He came to Kingsport in 1979 and began practice. He was employed by Holston Medical Group and Mountain Region Family Medicine until 14 years ago when he branched out on his own. He has had an independent family practice since 2003. Dr. Hunter is married to Jennifer Ford Hunter and they have three children; Nicholas (Frances), Wesley and Chandler. He has two grandchildren; Maggie and Henry. Dr. Hunter loves traveling, gardening and gamebird hunting.
PRISCILLA HENRY, FNP-BC Undergraduate: East Tennesse State University Graduate: East Tennesse State University I knew I wanted to be a nurse when I was 17. My father had heart disease and spent a lot of time in the hospital. When I visited, he always said, “You need to be a nurse; you would be good at that.” I agreed and started at Kingsport School of Practical Nursing at 18. The more I learned, the more I wanted to know and do. I believe God always nudges us in the direction we are supposed to go. I loved nursing and felt I had found my purpose in life. I practiced as an LPN at Indian Path Hospital while attending ETSU working on my Associate Degree in Nursing. After graduation, I worked as an RN at Holston Valley in Oncology and ICU. In 1993, I went to work for Quillen VA Medical Center where I worked in ICU for 7 years. During this time I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from ETSU. Following graduation, I went to work for Johnson City Medical Center in critical care and psychiatric nursing. I earned a Master’s Degree in Nursing from ETSU and was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I worked for Woodridge Hospital but had a strong desire to work in family medicine. I began working for State of Franklin Healthcare Walk-In Clinic in January 2010. It continues to be a rewarding and gratifying experience. I pray daily to God, the greatest Healer, that He guide me in providing treatment for my patients. I am married with two grown daughters and four granddaughters. My husband and I love riding our motorcycle on my off time. I also enjoy gardening and scrapbooking. I feel blessed to be a health care provider that accepts God as the greatest Practitioner.
CRYSTAL DOTY, FNP Crystal Doty is a native of Unicoi County, Tennessee and recently joined the State of Franklin Healthcare Associates Walk-In Clinic in January 2014. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at East Tennessee State University in 2006 and worked as a cardiovascular intensive care nurse for 7 years. She then went on to obtain her Masters of Science in Nursing from ETSU in 2013 and currently practices as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Crystal is compassionate about her work and feels blessed to have the opportunity to help others. When not caring for others at the walk-in clinic she enjoys spending time with her loving husband and family. Some of the hobbies Crystal enjoys include spending time outdoors, traveling, crafts, and exercising.

KASEY KEEL, PA


Kasey, a local to the area, has been a practicing Physicians Assistant since 2014. Never wanting to stray too far from home, she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Nutrition in 2012 from ETSU. After graduation, she attended Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate Tennessee for her graduate degree. After graduating, she worked in the emergency room for 2 years. Since then, she has been practicing in urgent care.


In her free time, she enjoys cooking, camping, hiking, and traveling.
